Sustainable Design

At WWA our Certified Passive House designers  adopt a ‘fabric first’ approach to design, minimising energy consumption and providing a high level of thermal comfort while lowering energy bills.

Our commitment to sustainable design encompasses both creating ultra-low energy design for new-builds and improving the performance of existing buildings and heritage assets.

We invite post-occupancy feedback to assess the quality of our projects and compare designs with ‘as built’ performance, and periodically run a ‘Toolkit for Sustainable Design’ seminar to advise clients on how to make cost-effective improvements to the energy usage of their properties.

WWA are committed to achieving net zero carbon design by the RIBA 2030 target including in our own business operations.
