WWA Sponsor HousingLIN

WWA is delighted to be a sponsor of the Housing LIN’s dedicated Sight Loss, Home and the Built Environment webpages, having been the beneficiary of the knowledge, learning and research it provides for many years. The Housing Learning and Improvement Network (LIN) is a sophisticated network bringing together housing, health and social care professionals in England, Wales, and Scotland to exemplify innovative housing solutions for an ageing population.

From his experience of working with them over many years, Mark Slater, Director at WWA, remarked that The Housing LIN has often challenged the status quo and is always looking for innovative solutions and ideas on a wide variety of topics to share with the industry. This chimes with WWA’s own ethos of creating outstanding people-centric places through innovative multi-disciplinary practice. We hope to provide support and insight to enable them to continue to provide exemplary service.

WWA is supporting the Housing LIN’s page titled Sight Loss, Home and the Built Environment hosted on their website. These pages provide guidance resources, reports, and individual stories that explore the issues facing people with sight loss in their daily lives and show the importance of well-designed housing, practical advice and support, social connections, and appropriate technology.

If you are interested in design within the health and social care sectors, contact our expert team; we would be glad to share our experience with you.
