Johnathan Headland – Our New Urban Design Director
WWA is pleased to welcome Johnathan to the Board of Directors as Urban Design Director. Johnathan joined WWA’s Oxford office in 2018, quickly establishing himself as a very capable designer, particularly in the residential sector. Johnathan has eight years of experience working for major housebuilders in the UK. This experience has given him a deep understanding of development economics that has enabled him to balance the often competing ambitions of exemplary placemaking with the pragmatism expected from the development industry. Johnathan is interested in the processes that facilitate development through the planning system, especially the role design and consultation play in delivering practical, high-quality places.
He has a wealth of experience in delivering residential and mixed-use schemes, from feasibility studies through to consented projects of up to 1500 dwellings.
As a shareholder and Urban Design Director of our growing business, Johnathan offers pragmatic and imaginative thinking that draws on the best of our in-house design and planning expertise to deliver our projects on time and within budget.
Currently, Johnathan is working on a broad range of projects, from the feasibility stage through to detailed design for our clients across the home counties. Get in touch with Johnathan to see how WWA can add value to your projects.
