Elmbridge Garage Site Approved

WWA Studios is continuing to deliver planning success on a number of garage sites across Elmbridge Borough for PA Housing. The latest approval is for a small site in Claygate that has been designed specifically for wheelchair users in mind. There are many accessibility features, including additional space for wheelchair manoeuvring, specialised bathrooms, level access, charging areas, and the potential for a lift installation. The layout has been driven by the number of trees on the site, which will be retained to preserve the natural features in the area and to maximise the sunlight in the courtyard gardens. We know wheelchair housing is underprovided nationally and this home will allow a family on the housing waiting list to live independently with the facilities they need. We are looking forward to the construction phase and getting it delivered on-site!
