Two Awards Shortlisting for WWA’s Kathryn Gundry
WWA’s Kathryn Gundry has been shortlisted for two awards this year! We know she is both extremely talented and passionate about her area of expertise; it is great for this to be recognised and celebrated with our wider network of industry colleagues and clients through these awards. At WWA, Kathryn combines research and practice, offering our clients the most up-to-date thinking in the residential care and extra care sectors.
Kathryn has led the production of several publications on our website, which can be viewed on our News & Insights page under the Research category. She is also contributing a chapter to a book being put together by ICE Publishing, which is currently exploring the theme of inclusive design. The book will be structured around the protected characteristics listed in the Equality Act 2010 and will introduce each of the protected characteristics and provide an overview of underpinning theory that will enable readers to understand the design principles behind current guidance.

We will be cheering on Kathryn at the OxPropFest 2021 Awards, where she is nominated for ‘Young Property Person of the Year’ – sponsored by @Stantec
For more info about other awards and the event on September 9, visit the OxPropFest website.
Kathryn is also a finalist for the Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards G4C for the ‘Future Leader’ category. We wish her the very best of luck for the final judging and look forward to joining the event.

The awards ceremony, which takes place on the 1st of July 2021, is free to attend.
So please look out for Kathryn Gundry—a brilliant architect and rising star!
